Our founder, David Johnson, brought his 20 years of military and business aviation experience to Northern Star Aviation in 2023 after successfully operating Southern Star Aviation for eight years. His military background as an F-15 Crew Chief in the United States Air Force and extensive civilian aviation experience have been instrumental in shaping our business.

David’s academic achievements from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, FAA A&P license, and numerous flying ratings provide a solid foundation for our operation. Currently, he serves as the Chief Pilot/Director of Operations for a privately owned corporation in McKinney, Texas, flying a Falcon 900.
